New 77 Various Job at Ministry of Health Tamisemi

The Office of the President, Regional Administrations and Local Governments (OR – TAMISEMI) announces to all Tanzanian citizens with the ability and qualifications to fill 77 Health Cadre jobs for Council Hospitals, Health Centers and Dispensaries.

Thus, graduates from Health Colleges recognized by the Government are encouraged to send job applications from 09 – 22 July, 2023. The available employment opportunities are for diploma graduates.

Qualified Health Cadre professionals are required to follow the same procedure to apply online through the link ajira.tamisemi.go.tz. Applicants who previously sent their applications through this system are required to update their information and application letters.

 The Ministry of Health in Tanzania is the government body responsible for formulating and implementing health policies, regulations, and guidelines in the country. It plays a crucial role in ensuring the provision of quality healthcare services to the Tanzanian population.

The Ministry of Health is headed by a Minister who is appointed by the President of Tanzania. The ministry operates under the guidance of the Permanent Secretary, who oversees the day-to-day operations and administration. The ministry works in collaboration with various stakeholders including other government ministries, international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and development partners to achieve its objectives.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR JOB APPLICANTS

  • All applicants must have general qualifications as follows: i. Be a citizen of Tanzania;
  • ii. He should be no more than 45 years old;
  • iii. He should have full training certificates for the field he studied (Fourth, Sixth Form Certificate as well as Professional Certificate and full registration (Full Registration) or active License to work in the relevant profession)
  • iv. He should not be a Government Employee or an Employee of Religious Organization Hospitals whose salary is paid by the Government;
  • v. Applicants employed with an employment contract from Development Stakeholders in the Health Sector are required to attach copies of the contract and letters of confirmation from the Directors of the relevant Councils;
  • v. He has never been fired, quit his job or retired in the service of
  • The public;
  • vii. Have a National Identification Number (NIDA); and
  • viii. Attach a copy of the birth certificate.

3.0 IMPORTANT POINTS TO CONSIDER FOR ALL APPLICANTS

  • i. All applicants should be ready to work in the Councils/Centres they will be assigned;
  • ii. Applicants should be ready to work with Organizations or Institutions that entered into Partnership with the Government;
  • iii. After being assigned a duty station, there will be no chance to change the duty station;
  • iv. All applicants should ensure that they fill in their information and attach all necessary documents to the system; and
  • v. Employment applications are free.

4.0 GRADUATES WHO STUDY ABROAD

  • i. All applicants who studied Secondary Education abroad are required to obtain an Equivalent Number starting with the letter EQ… from the Tanzanian Examination Council to enable them to enter the Employment System; and
  • ii. Applicants who have studied in Universities Abroad are required to get Accreditation of their studies from the Tanzania Universities Commission (TCU) so that their certificates can be recognized and get validity to be used in this country.
